Winery Review: This opens with dark aromas of leather, tobacco, cured meat, plum and prune. It shows soft tannins and loads of dark fruit on the finish.
My Review: I wasn't as much a fan of this wine as the others. The leather and tobacco came out on the nose for me and I found I did not like that. It was dry, which I usually prefer, but I didn't find enjoyable.
I did not try this with food.
